Alto flujo vehicular genera congestión continua en la intersección de avenidas Alejandro Navarrete con Gómez Carreño, en la parta alta de Viña del Mar.
Esta situación les permitirá postular a diversos proyectos de emprendimiento para mejorar las condiciones de seguridad y modernizar los servicios que prestan.
El general Hermes Soto explicó que «definimos hacer tres comisarías en la comuna, divididas en la del centro (4 Norte), Gómez Carreño y Forestal».
La cancha se construirá en un terreno de 20.480 metros cuadrados, que fue traspasado al municipio en concesión de uso gratuito por el Ministerio de Bienes Nacionales.
Actualmente sólo quedan por realizar algunos trabajos complementarios como, por ejemplo, la instalación de paraderos, señalética y reparación de algunas observaciones.
La medida se extenderá por un mes, cuando finalice la ejecución del circuito vial que comprende Av. Gómez Carreño, Alejandro Navarrete y calle Punta Arenas.
La obra vial tiene 50% de avance.
El proyecto implica la construcción de una cancha de 100 metros cuadrados por 55 m2 de pasto sintético con especificaciones FIFA.
Las faenas comenzaron en calle Alejandro Navarrete, entre Av. Gómez Carreño y calle Ignacio Ibieta, en Viña del Mar.
Ésta es la segunda etapa del proyecto, la cual se complementará con el gimnasio y la piscina municipal construidos en 2012.
Supuestas insolvencias económicas obligaron a la empresa a suspender las obras en esta transitada arteria de la parte alta de la Ciudad Jardín.
Las faenas corresponden a la ejecución de obras en la calzada oriente de Gómez Carreño, desde Alessandri hasta Alejandro Navarrete.
El parlamentario señaló que la empresa que dejó inconclusas las obras en el sector, está buscando adjudicarse la nueva licitación – a través de una empresa con otro nombre – lo que a su juicio es “impresentable”.
En septiembre pasado la empresa Stone abandonó los trabajos y presentó una demanda contra el municipio.
